Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between iTutor Computers and traditional learning centers?
There are a few important differences. First, all our programs are designed solely for one-on-one instruction, as opposed to traditional learning centers which are composed of group lessons. Most importantly, traditional learning centers do not use the same instructor session to session. A client may have a hard time developing a strong rapport with an instructor, if that instructor is being switched from session to session. The instructor in a group session would have to become familiarized with each new student every session, as opposed to our instructors who maintain an ongoing relationship with their clients.
What is the hourly rate for tutoring?
We provide a complete one stop solution for your computer tutoring needs, as well as, a design service at an affordable price. All of our fees are based on hourly rates ranging from $30 to $75 depending of the level of service required.
What is the minimum number of hours I can schedule a tutoring session for?
Due to continuity that's required in order to receive a maximum understanding of the software you desire, I would recommend at least an hour and a half per tutoring session.
What forms of payment are accepted?
At the present time, cash or checks are the only form of payments that are accepted.
How many people can be trained at the same time?
We prefer to work with one person at a time, but can accommodate small groups
Currently I do not have a computer, but I would like to expand my skills. Can you help me?
Yes, we can bring a laptop to you.
Do you provide references?
Yes, references are always provided upon request.
I am useless with computers. I get totally lost, it all seems so complicated. Can you help?
Yes, our one-on-one specialized training will build confidence. You have probably learned how to drive, but you had to be shown the correct way to go about it with logical progressive lessons, advancing you to a competent level. It would be a similar procedure with your computer.
